Is there a twelve step program for us, you know who you are, just like me you can't go for 30 days without thinking of or buying something for their Garage Queen, your wonderful Corvette. I'm Jim, and I'm a corvette . . . . :o
Hello. My name is Alex and I am Corvette-aholic. I cannot go a single day without driving the car. I am on Corvetteforum.com religiously and cannot stop planning "the next mod."
I just really like to drive the car. I have driven it about every day I've had it since Februrary.
I even plan on driving it all throught he winter here in MA save for the days it will snow and the day after while the roads are still wet with all the sand and salt/chemicals on them.
I love knowing that I can drive to work and drive it home. I don't mind being stuck in traffic or going anywhere in the thing.
I love looking at the car, I don't much like cleaning the car or waxing it but like it when it is clean, I just can't be a slave to the thing and would rather be out driving it around.
I love taking the Targa off and have it off every chance I get.
I haven't modded much and don't feel the need for more power but I do always want better and brighter lights. Light Cannon 2.0 up next.
I've driven my C5 over 100,000 miles since 2001. It still excites me to drive it every time I see it. I had to replace the driver's seat because it was warn out, but the passenger side is still brand new. Hummm _ I wonder...
I'm quickly starting to get fanatical about corvettes.
I used to hate them, because they were everywhere, and were the budget racers of the porsches and exotics out there.
Well, now that I own one, I can honestly say its hard to beat. I've also owned a 997, an m3, and driven a few exotics, and the vette is the one that I'm glad is in the garage.
Low cost to own, great to drive, turns heads, but I simply cannot get over my obnoxious american muscle borla stingers with no cat headers.
I'm Zig and I am Corvette-aholic. Crack is way overrated . Since getting the C5 I also developed duality syndrome. Can't decide what is better, driving or modding .
Mod a corvette, now why would you want to do that? Should keep them fully stock like mine lol. Oh yeah by the way that is my vette in the signature fully stock like I said and my name is Jason and I am a vette-aholic/mod-aholic
Hi, my name is Justin, and I too am a Corvette-aholic. I use it daily and can't seem to find a way to stop the habit. I tried telling myself I would be happy with a stock engine, but since I use it daily, I want more power!
From: ALL governments are legalized mobsters, so doesn't matter where I live :(
Hi my name is Stalion, I often think of having sex in my car, on the hood, on the deck lid with several hot chicks...when I'm feeling freaky I sometimes think of giving it to my car in it's sweet exhaust. I also planned on keeping her stock, but now I think I need more foreplay soooo mods are inevitable
Hi there, I'm Mawk, and a corvettaholic/trackaholic. Can't seem to stay away from either. Breakage is the only thing that helps me, but only temporary.
I'm Michele and I'm a total gonner, Corvette-aholic.
I think as soon as I signed my name when I adopted her, something in my brain went "click", some gene turned on or something and I'm a nut about her. I giggle and get this goofy grin on my face whenever I drive her (yes PERMA GRIN is a GOOD thing ) and I don't want anyone to touch her paint. Oh, it just goes on from there, it's a sickness definitely but a really fun one (except when a mechanic breaks something on her or I find a new chip or scratch, that makes me queezy and stressed immediately).
I thought the disease would be placated when I bought the car but NOOOO, then I find out about the catalogs and mods (had to restrain myself) and CF and clubs and caravans and waves..... It's all good and I'm happy, happy gal when I'm driving my Vette and even when I write the check to the bank (would rather make pmts on a Vette than any other car )
Hi, I'm Tom, and i'm a vette-aholic. I'm constantly lookin on the net at other corvettes. My daughter says "dad, you've really got it bad don't you". The boss at work says "you still smillin over that car? Everybody's always sayin, "you're gonna wear that corvette out drivin it all the time". I tell em "that's what i bought it for". I could buy a whole nother car for what i want to spend modding mine. I don't think they'll find a cure anytime soon.
Hi my name is Kevin I am a corvette-aholic and I DO NOT want to be on a 12 step program. I want to mod, drive and have fun, not stop any of it and fell sorry for the ones who do want to stop but best of luck to you anyway.
P.S. please don't tell my wife about this program she would sign me up quick.
