The hair filter is very effective. Never needs to be oiled, though I hear some people powder them.

actually that is a anodized piece of aluminum sheeting I cut to augment the look...
...and for a while I had a RED intake so...
It is kind of a signature look for StuzVette...

Thanks. I was wondering if it was cosmetic only. I thinking of painting my lower radiator section as well.

Anyone find the pre-filters that fit over the dual intake filters.They look like the material that the hospital shoe covers are made of.
