I've got the F45 (98),and you're right,there's not a whole lot of difference between the settings.

I drive over some railroad tracks every day on my way to work,and if the ride is set on "tour",my rearview mirror doesn't rattle when I hit the tracks @ 40 mph-if it's set on "sport" it rattles a little,and if it's set on "perf" the mirror rattles a lot.(not very scientific,but it works)

So the settings do make a small difference,but unless you're on a bumpy road,it's hard to tell anything's changed
