I had worked on the car a while back and then started getting some codes and havent been able to solve it. I also had some moisture over the shocks ecu in the trunk for f45 during the same time.
I've looked at the 2 diagnostics for these two codes C0690 and C0693. I also have a new code now when I clear them B2795. What I did was look under the engine bay near battery fuse panel.
There were 3 things that said RTD real time dampening. The #7 10amp small fuse the #51 20amp large fuse and the #41 RTD Relay. I looked at the fuses, they looked good, I switched them with other exact fuses from the fuse box too. I also switched out the relay with another identical one and also flipped it around going the other way it could install.
Still have the codes, as I manually clear them I hear a clicking sound in the engine bay and they come back! What can I do? Im pretty sure since I swapped the fuses and relay with other ones that is not the problem. How would you go about this?
Do you think it is the shocks computer in the trunk that could be bad now? As I stated there was some moisture in that area and that is when the problem started.
No I don't let shops get anywhere near my car, it's nothing I can't solve with a little guidance, I already have the diagnostics for those codes. If I knew as much on electronics as mechanics I would be done.
I believe I have friend the shocks ecu but want to make sure before I buy another one

That's why I made the suggestion that I did. You seem pretty technically inclined but maybe you need someone with a little bit more experience. Good luck though, hope it works out.
Alex you can take your car to shops, nobody is stopping you but I would be careful where you go
I havent had to luckily and I'm on the 6th one
I am careful where I go and have had nothing but success with my shop visits for service. I just wanted to toss the idea out there based on what you said. I also see that you are very handy and pretty smart with tooling around a car, much more than myself, so I am sure you can get it fixed with a little more research. This is my only car so I don't have the patience or more importantly, know how to do what you can do
I have the F45 suspension also and know it costs a GRIP to replace and hope that is not the case for ya. How many miles on your suspension?
The combined members on here are like the best mechanics shop ever.
If you have some free time and think you may enjoy it give working on easy things at try. It's not hard and a great, clean safe hobby.
I appreciate your help and yes I hope I get this fixed soon. I have put about 200 miles on my car in 1.5 years while I've been working to fix it up to my liking. I had my other C5 for a bit of that time but have been vetteless in my eyes since I sold that DD C5 8 months ago and it's not a good feeling to not drive a vette regularly.
Since you you had water above the ESC, have you pulled the connector off the ESC and inspected the pins? Also check for voltage on the input/output of mini relay 41

Yes I pulled it out and let it sit in the sun every day for a week and reinstalled, pins look fine, it was just moist there was mold in the area.
I get power on the 2 top pins on mini relay 41. The 2 closest to the fuel rail cover. I have switched the relays, flipped them upside down, reset codes.
Alex, I am in the garage with the laptop the pics are great.
Everything matches though is the problem. And I've swapped the 3 that have to do with the RTD so I think the problem is elsewhere. Wish again I understood how to follow this diagnostic. At least Im ruling things out
