I know a guy that owns a few RX7's in Raleigh. One of them would own my Z easily. He's just another car nut having fun .

As far as the OP... I'm staying out of it, I don't know the guy to understand his intentions here.

We're all pretty lucky that way...

To be fair, though, the front end of the C5 really does share a lot of cues of the other 3. There's only so much you can do if you want hidden headlights, low cd, etc. But it does not surprise me that as the last one to come out it is the most successful execution of the theme...

Is it brilliant that you seem to pick on every aspect of our beloved cars, but you continue to own one and make parts for it that look like giant lipped vaccuum cleaner attachments?

Whatever man, I just don't get your true intentions here.
Uhm, if insecurity and whining were commodities, you and a few others would be rich

Thanks for bringing up a good point, I do make my own parts when the run of the mill crap does not suit me. How about you? All you can do is to ridicule my attempts

The point of this thread was to look at obvious "inspirations" to the vette and perhaps continuing this path, come up with some better body enhancements than those that are currently available?

Now, you go back to fixing your ruffled feathers and continue to stroke others as your favorite online activity. There is no need to hate what you do not understand.

BTW, perhaps the manner of expressing my opinion about the flares was not very pleasing but the point was there. If you cared at all about aerodynamics, you would be concern with creating more drag due to the increase in exposed front face of the tire as well...

Why is it that whenever someone here points out what a PITA you are, that you feel we are being insecure, or whining? Can't you get it through you're head that some of us are fed up with your - nothing more and nothing less.

The only reason I ridiculed your work, was so that you knew how it felt. You reacted just as I thought you would. So maybe now when you have a problem with a vendor's offerings, you'll keep it to yourself, or perhaps PM the vendor.

As for the point of this thread, and many others of yours, instead of titling a thread "Blah..." and then posting pics with smilies, why not try to get to your point sooner? It's chit like this that has people convinced you're still a

Have you ever read "All Corvettes Are Red" or anything written by
John Cafaro, the Chief Exterior Designer for the C5? If so, it would give you a much clearer picture of what the true inspiration is for the styling of the C5.

You're totally off base and out in left field with your half-baked assumptions and statements.

PITA? hmmm... this is a forum not a chicken coop with roosters getting too tired keeping the chickens in line and complaining about it? Ignore what you do not like instead of lammenting about it as not up to your standards. I do not rip on vendors, just on stuff I perceive as flawed by design. It was my understanding this is a forum to discuss ideas not just to reinforce sales and boost egos? Why not start making some stuff yourself? This is what I do quite a bit. Vendors typically do not make anything, they sell. You may get a different perspective on a few things, including calling others trolls.

no, so sorry, I did not read this apparently revealing book. You are familiar with the saying picture is worth a thousand words? I do not have a problem with vette's front looking like Ford Probe at all BTW, neither should you.

agreed

Looking at the blue one, I would really have a hard time telling vette apart from RX7...
