What an amazing final few laps .. !!

I wonder what they are going to do with the results ????

personally if the Porsche was able to spin the Vette the that means the vette was IN FRONT of him and should have won .. !!

Just my two cents !

As much as I want the Corvette's to win, I think due to the nature of the last 2 laps of the race, they are going to let the win stand for the Flying Lizards team. Maybe if Jan didn't bump Bergmeister in the last turn, but I doubt anyone expected that to happen! All I can say is 2010 is going to be AWESOME

Very exciting race, I went to it yesterday. Huge crowd gathered around the vette pit after the race as the # 3 came in on a tow truck. Lot of people were syaing it was a cheap shot by the Porsche. Here are a few pics.

that was a very exciting last few laps...i wouldnt call myself an alms fan but if they are usally that competitive ill have to reconsider...it was a shame that Bergmeister had to wreck Magnusson win it...Magnusson diserved some rubbing for his actions but not to be wrecked

Wish I had seen it.

Ahh, maybe not. I hate to see a Vette on a wrecker.

yeah - the stewards seemed to think it was unfair to pass in the "extra" (pit -out) lane -- but ok for the Porsche to move 2 full lanes to the left and push the Vette into the rail. As already said, the Corvette Had to be in front to be spun like that. total BS

Did seem like a bit of overkill on the part of the Porsche driver - it sure looked like #3 was going to overtake him. It looks like the C6R is going to have some very good competition in the GT2 class - and I'm betting they do very well.

What the? Bergmeister has the championship with twice as many points as the #3, even if he finishes second. He showed the most exciting racing you'll see anywhere, and then pulls that stunt on the last lap! He should be disqualified. I hope Jan is OK. Thanks Corvette Racing for another exciting year. See you at Sebring.

It was very obvious the Corvette was faster. The only way for Bergmeister to win was to knock him off the track. Chicken s--t win if you ask me.

Bergmeister intentionally ran the vette into the wall and then pulled the pit maneuver on him! that is totally illegal and uncalled for. IMO bergmeister should have been disqualified.
