Make yourself one of these and put about 4-6 inches of water/antifreeze in the bottom. A bit of peanut butter on the can and you're in business. I caught eight last year in late fall and early winter and had no trouble after that. Since our weather's been in the 40's here the past week, I've caught three so far this year. No need to empty the bucket for awhile since the antifreeze serves to preserve the little buggers nicely.

This summer I left a cup with an apple core in my cup holder overnight...the next day I see blurry gray fuzz...(thinking it is mold without my reading glasses)
I vow to throw it away when I am home.
Later that day I smell dead mouse..no smell like it. After driving around doing errands, I am visiting with my girlfriend and she says "Suzan, what is in your cup?:" As soon as she said that, something told me .........MOUSE!I threw it out the window and the screams began!
BETTER MOUSE THAN SNAKE THOUGH!
I WOULD HAVE HAD A HEART ATTACK ON MY WAY OUT THE WINDOW
