Too funny.
We got the other sent yesterday with a label liked we talked about.
Well if we cant see them we might as well pass the time talking about them
Dont know if you mocked up the shroud yet or if you are still going with the projectors shown in the video in the first post but I thought Id throw my two cents in.
1) I did like the way the silver part of the projectors stood out on the ones you used. I would like them to come out like that (not flush).
2) And along the same lines, I didnt think much of the photo from Germany of the red C5. The shrouds looked like a square just molded into the stock opening (too flat and bondo looking, and I believe the were not centered).
A black ABS (or whatever you want to make it out of) shroud that closely conforms and wraps around the projectors meeting with the newer (smaller) opening that allowed the sides of the projectors to show, staggered like you mounted the ones in the first post, would be what Im most hoping for.
3) What bulb/projector are you looking at using (for the low beam), and are you looking at a halogen for the highbeam projector?

The shroud is being worked on now. It looks pretty good. From what you guys have been emailing me and posting I think you will all like it.
2) It's not going to look like that red one.
3) We're looking at both low and high HID options as well as halogen. As of now the lows will be H7 bulbs.
We plan several options which should allow the lights to fit in everyone's budget. Not everyone will have the need for HID highs so the additional cost won't be needed for them.
Some people like to go all out so they will want every option possible.
We will post all of that info up once we are 100% sure on what we're going to offer.

The only reasons I like halogen highs are because they don't have a warm up time like HIDs and if I decide to flash my brights it's not going to bad for them. Flashing brights is common here for letting large trucks come over or letting people know their headlights aren't on.
Even the manufacturers use halogens for the highs on expensive cars. My mother's Infiniti M35 has HIDs for the lows and halogens for the highs.
As long as the lows stay on with the highs, I think I'll be content with halogen highs.
These pics show the lights without the shrouds which we're still working on.
This pic shows the final height which is 98-100 mm. We still need to get a measurement of stock, but we're thinking they open around 70mm less than stock.
These pics are from the driver seat/drivers perspective. Both headlights have pretty much disappeared from view! The second picture was taken with the camera just under the rearview mirror.
Descriptions of what the pics are showing to follow...
This is at the end of the thread and I thought we all needed to see them again...I only have one thing to say about this whole thing...Hurry up!!!!
The bottom line is quality - we hear time and time again about GM did this or that - Well if we are going to add to the product it needs to look at least as well as from the factory.
My only negitive is driving at night - OLD EYES and the head lights suck.
Just took a huge hit because I didn't feel the product measured up to the overall car I was driving.
