I doubt it - they are VERY thick and heavy. That is similar to what I did - I put mine in a vice and used a rounded ratchet extension on the back side and soft plastic blocks on the front, but the pressure still trashed the rubberized plastic insert on one side. If I could get just the inserts, I could probably do the bending and put new inserts in, but even then I could not do the vertical curve - the flag poles would just have to stick up and not look quite right.
I had to return 2 sets before I got a set that fit, barely. I cut off the "plugs" from the original emblems and used 3M epoxy to glue them to the chrome emblems. Then used epoxy to glue the emblem to the nose. Now after 3 yrs all of the white areas and the clear on the emblems turned yellow. They look terrible. They are the emblems that Mid America & Ecklers sell. I would not recommend them. I hoped that someone out there would make a better product.
I doubt it - the damage to the new one is not on the top surface, but underneath where the adhesive has tried to release from the metal but can't. I imagine one could remove the inserts, but doubt they would be usable.
Another thing to consider is that if a stock emblem came loose while driving it would do no damage, if one of these let go, it would take out a windshield and/or trash a targa top or Ninga Star the motorcycle rider behind you!
