I posted this on another thread where somebody got keyed, but it will make you feel better after reading it:
If it makes you feel any better back when I was in High School we were at a fair, in the parking lot we saw a punk *** key a TransAm. Being 16 yrs old I didn't know what to do so I blew it off and we went to the fair. 4 hours later we were leaving and saw the owner looking at his car in disbelief. I went over to tell him that I saw the dude and as I was describing the punk, whala, there he is about 80 ft. away. I told the dude that I was 100% positive that that was him. He walked over and knocked him out with a left (not kidding, hardest hit I've seen in real life) and then waited for the police to come. The guy told the police the punk threw a punch at him first....nobody disputed it except the punk. Cops hauled the punk off with the TransAm dude following them to the police station. I don't know what happened but I'm pretty sure that punk wouldn't do it again!

Another story. Don't know if it will make you feel better. Guy at work had his new Vette keyed. Mentioned it to security. And incredible luck his car was parked in view of a security camera and the act was caught on tape. Plain as day a multi-year employee was caught on tape. He was fired that day and I believe the tape was used by the Vette owner to press criminal charges. Sometimes (not often, but sometimes) people get what they deserve.
