LOL.... I have to laugh at this...I failed (my 99 coupe) the emission inspection here in Colorado. Well technically it passed, all the readings were good enough, but the gas cap failed the pressure test....it had cracks (from old age..) in the seal. $20 bucks later after a trip to the dealer and it passed with flying colors..96k and the inspector told me it was as good as new...or better!

As mentioned before...congrats....and go drive that thing...!

Glad all you guys passed your State tests. When are we all gonna get spines and tell our States to take a flying leap at testing a POS motorcycle in China. We live in the cleanest industrialized Nation on the planet and our own States jack with us like we are killing the planet.

C5 LS1 is a threat to all mankind? I don't think so.

Unfortunately, we have to set the example. Otherwise, nothing would change and we WOULD kill the planet.

To the OP, congrats on passing. A real load off the mind...

To the OP,

Sorry for the following:

To the quotee:

We live in the cleanest industrialized nation in the history of the planet.
I will give you all I own if you can explain and prove how any one man, one county, one state, one nation can kill this planet. Took a few billion years to form. An LS1 is gonna take it to destruction? If you really believe that,,,,No hope for you.

This should be good!

Congrats...here in Vancouver we have pretty strict inspections as well...As if a some extra Carbon Monoxide will make a difference in comparison to the pollution the heavy industry makes... Indy

Default Anyone Else Miss the Irony?

Isn't it wonderfully ironic that you have to drive 200 miles wasting gas and pumping CO2 into the atmosphere to pass an emissions test.

Ah well, any day in the Vette is a good day.

My thoughts exactly ! I went to the dealer because I was hoping that they would say they could reset everything but no dice ! They said the exact same thing ....go drive 200 miles. After posting here I got a lot of help from you all with saying to drive different speeds and different loads so thanks all. Oh the guy at inspection said if you even jump start a car it will cause you to fail because it resets one of the computers ! If that's true....wow !

Thank You Al Gore.
Kill the planet by driving cars???? What about the volcano eruptions that put more gases in the atmosphere that all the vehicles on the planet. Seems the planet can cope.
Oh well off to PC school.
