The setup comes with a fuse in the line, I have mine running to my battery at the moment, but I plan to run it from the fuse box when it warms up and I can take the time to do a neat job. Does that answere your question or were you trying to figure out how to run the wires from the cutouts to the control?
Well yes and no. What I am trying to figure out before I do the install is were can I tap in to get power to the cutouts but I want a wire that's not hot when the car is turned off.
On my QTP cutouts, you only have to run one power line to the switch. It then has two long connections, one for each cutout, that just simply snap into the cutouts on your exhaust. There are lots of different ways to run those, thats where I ran into a problem, I ended up using alot of zip ties though.
I havent had any problems with leaks. The QTP didnt come with gaskets but I added a pair just to be safe. Havent really noticed a power difference. If there is, its probly minimal. Hard to tell an extra couple of hp when you alread have 405. The sound is awesome though!
I've been want QTP Cutouts for my Z for the longest time now. Until, I heard about the warranty and acouple not working after installed but all you guys in this thread seem to be happy with them. Should I pull the trigger and get a set of these on my Z? Give me your opinion. Thanks.
