I either had a good idea or brain gas.

How about using some open top Baking Soda boxes. I know that works wonders on some pretty stubborn household smells.

Look hard for any residue and then question why moth ***** in the interior. Some use moth ***** in the exterior and engine bay to avoid the damage from mice and small rodents or animals in the area of storage. The previous owner may be hiding other problem like a flooded interior and used the moth ***** to mask the smell.
