I know I am a little late on this reply, but I had to pitch in...
I designed that paint job by using the overhead flourescent lights in my shop and seeing how they reflected off of the shape of the car. I followed the line that the lights reflected almost exactly. The seperating line is silver, as one of the sharp-eyed posters noticed, and was painted on and cleared over. The line conveniently went below the mirrors and above the gas cap.
Dave Hill saw the car at Bowling Green and walked around the car a few times before commenting on it. He said "We should start painting the cars like that." That was a huge compliment! I couldn't help but notice that some of the C6 ZR1 original pics are 2-tone and seem to be similar... but of course I would think that. Haha.
I'm curious to see if you did a 2-tone. I obviously am a fan! I used to get a LOT of compliments on the car. Unfortunately, I sold it... good thing I don't see it anymore, cuz it would kill me. It is an absolutely beautiful car, and I miss having it!
