just installed magnetic oil plug about 2 weeks ago. plan on getting the oil filter magnet but with my car being lowered we will see how long it stays on lol
I'm never sure how effective it is. I've listened to the arguments about particle size and debris traps, The way I see it is that for $25 it was a good insurance policy even if it never catches a thing.

Same here. Filter Mag. Very powerful magnets used on it. It attaches to the side of the filter so no ground clearance issues. Widely available from a number of sources. Shop around for best price.
I put magnetic drain plugs in all three, eng., trans., and rear end, as well as a super magnet on the bottom of the eng. oil filter. I only have one problem,,,,,,,,,, if I am driving too slow I suck up manhole covers.
