haha...funny...but I bet every case of curb rash was unintentional...some tire manufacturers have even added a warning strip of rubber to help prevent it; clearly a common condition.
This is the new ricer trend. If you do it you may as well get 2 fart cans and 2 wings, one for the roof and one for the rear. Just my 2 cents. It looks ok on some imports but not on a vette.

of course people hitting the curbs is unintentional. But it happens because a lot of people dont pay attention when they drive. Which is why i said its a problem.
The style isnt for everyone i know. Thats great if you do or dont like. I am just trying to hear some feed back from people who do have set ups like this to see what their thoughts were and what they went with.
To the ricer comment, yes those VW's are pushing it, and i would say that are a bit ricey. I wouldnt do that to a vette, ever! But look at the C6 above. Thats is almost want im talking about, i would go with a little wider. But for the most part that is it.
I assumed "flush" was regarding the wheel to fender stance/look which I like and appreciate. The c6 looked good to me. The other pictures with the wheel lip sticking out past the tire looks ridiculous. I didn't realize this is a trend. I thought all those cars I saw with that look were a result of the owner not being able to afford the proper width tire.... oops.
It is your car, do with it as you will, but not my taste.
Not sure what a 'flushstance' is, but here is a pic of my CCW T140's, 19 x 345 rear, 19 x 285 front. Why don't you just run a minitub or some L5 fenders?
:sigh: its not about what the dubbers are doing, flush stance is about dropping the car low and getting tires and rims to fill in the fender wells and have the tires come up exactly flush with the fenders case in point the c6.
what the dubbers (vw) do is called Poke which is what you get when you run a tire thats too small you get the lip of the rim to poke out, but the tire stays w/in the fender if you notice the golf its scraped along the fenders from the "poke"

You would not be able to go any wider. That has 19x13 with a 345 tire. That is as wide as we go and with a C5 that would stick way out..
