Oil Leak
I noticed this morning when I backed the Vette out of the garage there was a slight trail of transmission fluid (it's an A4) on the garage floor. I had not noticed it before, a friend told me a while back that he had the same issue with his C5. His was caused by an overfill at the dealer's. He seemed to think that it occurred mostly when the temperature dropped. Before I take it to my mechanic, is there something that I should be looking for, specifcally. It is kind of difficult to see much without getting it on a lift. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Has there been any history of a troublesome seal? Has anyone had a similar problem, and if so, was it a major job to repair?

Jack it up get a bright flash light and look for the fluid at it's highest level, this will let you know if it is a gasket or just the oveflow
Check around the pan for fluid, but always look to the highest point for oil
