Corvette C5-R
I am looking to purchase a 1997-99 corvette and attempt to replicate the look of a C5-R, specifically the body kit and the graphics all over the car. I am only attempting to re-create the look of a C5-R and not the performance.
I don't know where to start once I purchase a used corvette. Any help? Has anyone seen this done? I've searched the web and can't find any replicas. Perhaps a business that does this kind of work would greatly help me.
Thanks

Full body kit will run quite a bit

The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
He has a C5R and C6R replicas. IIRC each car cost more then $100,000 over the price of the car to do the body work and graphics. But nothing under the body work.
Now if the OP wants something close or a racing C5, we can find him several. in the $80,000-$200,000 plus range. Just look for Old Speed World Challenge cars for sale.
and those drop spindles run ~ $5,000 a set.
Here is something close:

There was a guy in England who ruined an '03 Zo6 with a full decal package and a wing trying to replicate a C5r. Painted the azz end black too.
It was a story in Corvette Enthusiast magazine and I could only chuckle after I was done reading the article and flushed the toilet.
When I was taking photos, I thought it was a C6R, it was not until I got up close did I see the interior, and that is was a C6 not a C6R.
I have to say it was very cool
