steering column lock
hey fellas, my problem is that i had my steering column lock pin removed
in early '09 and now the column lock message is coming on again, and my car shuts off. i did leave my key in the ignition for about twenty minutes before i was to park it, and thats when it started. any suggestions?

Two choices:
1) Install a CLB. That will get rid of the error messages and the fuel shutoff.
2) Reprogram fuel shutoff speed in PCM to a high number (255). That gets rid of the fuel shutoff problem but NOT the error message. Then either live with clearing the error message every time you start the car or use choice 1. Only programming tools that can reset the fuel shutoff speed are EFI Live or HP Tuners.
