Man it seems like almost a tie between a shortened ACI and the Chrome and Carbon. Im kinda starting to lean towrds the C&C looking one Just for the fact that its not something you see alot of. I would try to get it made in the same shape, but id like to keep it from sticking out on the sides.

My manufacturer told me they could probably start this in a couple weeks so id like to make a final decision in the next few days.

The C&C one does look If it comes out looking like it does in the pics, I'll definitely buy one.

^ Lol, I want to keep the price relatively low I will most likely make them in carbon and if I could get enough people urethane (would need 25) or I could do it in fiberglass.

Would you guys not want it to extend to the fenderwells like it does now? Or just mount under the bumper somehow? I think it would look good without flaring out on the sides like that and just attach underneath.

The one on the Blue car in post #80!!!!!!!

or the shortened ACI one.

The Chrome and Carbon, one looks to Ricer in my opinion.

I like how it extends to the fender wells, if you remove that and go shorter then you won't be able to have the lip on the 2 sides in front of the wheels. The sides do flare out to much but you could still have it flared alittle so it flows with the lip going up the front wheels. Having it flared out alittle would go very well with your side skirts, if that's everyones plan of course.

perhaps Im in the minority, but Id be all about the chrome carbon version, as it sits, if you also made some very subtle, very thin, side splitters to match. My whole thing is that if you look at a sock C5, now matter what the ride height, the rocker panels, to me anyway, look slightly lower than the nose of the car. If Im going to put a front splitter on, I want it to balance the look of the car so that the nose is the same height off the ground as the rockers. I think a carbon fiber front splitter along the lines of the chrome carbon peice, along with some very thin, very subtle matching side splitters would look perfect on a C5...something along the lines of the new ZR1s. Just my .02

YES!!! Bingo, there it is!! Something much sleeker and smaller than the ACI set up that balances the car and looks like it could have been stock! Make 'em in carbon fiber for people that want to run them as is or make them in fiberglass for others who want them painted. I promise you'll sell a boat load!!!!

I have been looking for the perfect one for a year...those blt on flat boards are no good. you can barely see them and I really wouldnt trust it at high speeds 170+

if you want to see the best one, I think its the one on the tigershark corvette. it mounts like the ACI, but has a big openeing and a longer front lip.

http://www.pf-flyer.com/sitebuilder/..._c-758x315.jpg

plent of other guys make the add on flat board deal....for 700$

make one like this with a ACI price. 300ish and you got a money maker

I've been tracking ideas for this for years. Here's my two favorite.

First is the ACP one posted earlier. This seems to be pretty close to the discussion of the shortened ACI. It does seem to have some sort of lip/edge/curve in front of the front wheels. Not sure that could be replicated.

This one and the shortened ACI with the center support removed get my vote! If you make it it Carbon I'm in for the Group Purchase.
this one is awesome. love it

^ That one is not bad but I think the C&C one looks a bit better. Just because it has a bit different shape to it and is not just straight across up front...

I definitely like the shape of this one better. I could taper where it flares out a bit where it mounts to the fenders, I could still do that but not go out as far, kinda keep it close to the bumper (I think that one above flares out too far as well) I would prefer it go out maybe like an inch or so, it would look cleaner.

VGLNTE1...I was about to post on your thread I plan on getting these made asap, and I plan to try an keep the prices low. I cant guarantee what they will be right now, but id like to do carbon for $399 and fiberglass for $299. I would have to wait an see what the manufacturer tells me on pricing, but it wont be ridiculous, I wont let it

honestly though, the reason I have not tried to get a splitter like the chrome one, was because of the shape. Just dosnt match the car lines. The shorted ACI with no center section, and maybe stick the lip outward more would really be cool!!

Instead of making a new set of side skirts, just make the splitter match to the ZR Style Side Skirts.

Yes, please. Whatever minor mods make you happy. Vote done. Do it! You know you want to......

Please PM me when the GP starts. I'm so busy at work recently I don't have time to check here much.

Can we mount these ourselves without going to a body shop?

^ Lol, I definitely want to do something soon. I may just go ahead and make one for now and see what the response is then make another later. I just think the C&C one looks better. The one on the blue car looks more like a splitter to me. I will forward this thread to my manufacturer and let them check it out and see when I can get started.
