Designing new front lip...need help!!
(Ie..center support moved or maybe a couple different ones besides the center)Remember guys if I make this in urethane it will be a bit more expensive. I will say in the $350-400 range? I could probably do the initial GB for $299 since we would need 25 presold and $299 for a urethane lip would be an awesome price. After the first 25 are gone I would probably raise it to $349-$399. If we can settle on an ACI style, i'll start looking into it. Let me know. Thanks
I wish I had the skill to photoshop to show ya but thats not happening.
I've been tracking ideas for this for years. Here's my two favorite.
First is the ACP one posted earlier. This seems to be pretty close to the discussion of the shortened ACI. It does seem to have some sort of lip/edge/curve in front of the front wheels. Not sure that could be replicated.
The second is the Chrome and Carbon one. I've tried to purchase this direct from the guys at Chrome and Carbon, but no luck. Here's all the pics I've ever been able to find. Including some that I had emailed to me from the only owner of one I've located.
Did I mention I want this in carbon. I was going to buy a TS nose just to get the carbon lip you were putting together in the past. Then I realized that such a low lip wouldn't make it in the driveway of my new house.
I like these because they are relatively low profile, yet still obvious. I don't feel that I'll rip these off if I fail to notice some change in the road.
The flat ones that are in one of the first posts (from Wheeler's car) just isn't my style. JW is actually putting together a GP on those right now in another thread.
I'm not a fan of the ACI spoilers either. I have a hard time explaining why, but the look just doesn't do it for me. I will admit though, the shortened ACI one was starting to look better. I think that was closer to the look presented in the two choices shown above.
Oh, and Pete --- make it in CARBON too please!

The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts

C5vetteguy and Michael work so good together
This is money.. I'm down for that as a front fascia that is one piece will look even better as it can be more seamless, yeah?! Or you could put a chin like C5vetteguys rendition on something like this! Please feel free to doodle C5VG!

I wish Lingenfelter still made that body kit. That is the perfect one.
I am guessing that your car is still a bottom breather.
I have to open my radiator opening to a full 5" high by 18" wide to get enough air for cooling.
However, my car is a front breather, not a bottom breather, and have a front undertray.
Function front spilter. I can stand on it and it wont budge
make the splitter in carbon fiber and rear diffuser in carbon fiber
I really like the shortened ACI designs...How much would a carbon fiber version be?
