The big wheels and lowprofile tires? Yeah...kinda. Could use some tweaking for a better look
Yeah, a different look wouldn't hurt ! Yeah know, I see your point about the second floor high shifter, but that could be smaller. And the tires , (For me) are way to big. But overall the car is straight as an arrow, and the car is clean. I don't what the price is, but the car looks OK. Personally I thing is lowered too much for me, but that too can be changed.

Reason: Addition
Actually I think it looks fine. There are plenty of people that have 20s on C5s that look like complete ***, but having stock looking wheels doesn't look bad to me. Still trying to remain stock but with bigger sizes, what's bad about that? The shifter can easily be fixed. I think you just need to get in bed.
doubt he drifts it being a corvette owner and professional drifter myself, you are correct a tall shifter is good for drifting but c5 corvettes do not have the necessary steering angle to be competitive unless modified like conrad grunewald's c5z.
I just dont see the point in heavy 20" factory reps on a z but everyone has their own opinions just saying.... and I'm sure there are alot worse out there

I agree with you and again this all a matter or opinion not trying to start conflicts I just wanted to see everyone's opinion on this specific car.
looks like a "Need For Speed" car to me

The wheels look even bigger with it slammed. I am not a big fan of big wheels and low profile tires. The thing to remember is this is a Corvette and a Z06 at that. It is designed for speed and handling. You lose almost all of the true handling with the low profile tires. You need the sidewall flex when you start to throw it into a corner. It may actually be unsafe to some extent.
As for the shifter, it does look a little out of place, but then again it is not something most people will see and it is easily fixable.
okay ridiculous I admit was a little much but I come from performance oriented background so it was odd to me....
come on joshtownsend for ccws looks great
Anyways GM spent millions of dollars designing a world class sportscar for performance and people go and throw a big heavy wheel that slows it down, makes it harder to stop, makes ride comfort worse and also the handling as tr6speed said.......

I disagree with this statement.. and here is why.. expect for the ZO6, all of the "stock" vettes had run flats.. there is no give with them.. and i certainly would not say they are unsafe but any stretch of the imagination.
As for 20's.. I would challenge just about anybody on a road coarse.. and i have 345/25/20 nittos on the back... plenty of give to a degree...
of coarse I do have coil overs as well.. but still.. even without them its not less dangerous.. its all in the driver and his ability to drive with his own car... it always has been...
