Many of the car magazines for March have Harbor Freight coupons for that jack as mentioned for $59.99!! I've had two H.F. aluminum floor jacks,,1 bigger and one more compact,,and have used them for years,,,no problems. Every thing from sub compacts to F150 Super Crew!! Also have a Backyard Buddy that takes a LOT of the work out of under car work:!!

Great jack. I like it because its small, maneuverable, and works great.

I picked up this one. Dual parallel pump lifting mechanism.

I used the 20% off coupon to pay for their replacement plan. I can take it back whenever in 2 years and 3 months and get a new one for whatever reason. I did that because my last Harbor Freight one crapped out on me. Started leaking oil. As soon as it went up, oil went out. Maybe I can rebuild it - but it gave me 4+ years of service.

That's the same jack I have. I also bought 4 of their aluminum jack stands.

I was always under the impression that Harbor Freight tools wouldn't last and was considering buying a $300 floor jack on Amazon that others had suggested. With one of the coupons from car magazines, this is a steal @ $60. I think i'll pick one up later this morning. Fantastic find!

Blackhawk low profile long jack. Has the quick lift but not as useful on the Vette haha. About 2-3 inches off the ground and about 3-4 ft long.

The funny part is I bought this because I was going to do a header install and I was fed up with my 3 ton jack and boards and driving it up on a board just to get the jack under and so forth. I even bought a new puck for it since the saddle doesn't remove. So what do I do the next week? Buy a $750. used Kwiklift. Like I said I'm over jacking up the car.

If anybody needs a $59.95 coupon for the blue jack pictured shoot me a pm with your address and I'll send you one. It expires 5/3/2010, good in store only.

I have been using the 2 ton HF jack for just under three years. It needs to be replaced. It will still lift but wont hold. I rebuilt it about three months. i will probably look to upgrade for somthing that has a longer warranty.
by the way, why would you buy a jack rated to lift less than the weight of the car your lifting? I aw a lot of folks saying the bought 3000lp HF jack.

Don't remember if it was car and driver or road and track but it was in the back section of those mags. Could have even been motor trend or automobile...heck if I remember. I just remember it in the back lol

Also try Northern Tool. They have a decent selection as well. I have a Torin Big Red aluminum jack. Its low profile and has a twin piston pump. It works great and has been very reliable. Most of these jacks are made in the same place in China, so its hit or miss on finding a good one unless you want to spend $350+ for one made in the USA.

That looks awesome. I have a low profile two post to put in my garage but I might re think this. Do you have the sliding jacks in the center to lift the car? What brand and cost?

Hey THANKS bud! Funny, the grass is always greener LOL. I've been thinking two poster for a bit now too

This one is a SuperLifts SJ7000. I have jack trays, but not the ones with the jack built in. I will likely get those at some point since the trays are a PITA.

this is going to get some upset... BUT I thought the Buick Grand National people were cheap. if you can afford a vette what are you doing buying a POS made in china death trap jack? is it really that hard to drive the front wheels up on a piece of 2x10 & use a quality floor jack like this one. http://www.automotivetoolsonline.com...2_p_11668.html your rolling it around your garage, not taking it on vacation with you.

Default Black Jack from Walmart

I bought a Black Jack from Walmart, it is a 3 Ton HEAVY-DUTY floor jack (twist handle to open/close valve) that goes down to 3.3 inches. Think it cost around $60, but not all Walmarts carry it.

Great for Garage, but you want to roll it around not lift it.

Just checked,,and for those mags,,you are right!!,,I'm kinda bipolar with cars!! Motor Trend ,,the add IS in the back(probably Car and Driver as well) BUT in my Car Craft and Chevy High Performance,,the are in the front!! I guess the fancy car guys want to keep Harbor Freight in the back,,,but for the gear head hot rod type right out in front!! I live in BOTH worlds with my C5 and my BB shark!!
