I did not hook up any of the electronics or weight sensor and do not have an airbag light illuminated.

For a C6 this what you will need to do to NOT have air bag lights...

Ok, now Im a little confused, after re-reading the installation, looks like you drilled holes and moved the seats 1 1/2" ? I bought the seats with a lumbar support on the passenger side on purpose, because I thought I had to switch them? Can I still switch them? Will it be off Center? I can drill some holes...Kerry

I switched them. Passenger for driver and driver for passenger and did not drill any additional holes that I remember. They work perfectly fine. Just try before you drill. It is super easy to install and remove once attached to the base.

It looks like he attempted to make the driver seat work on the driver side by drilling new holes etc....but ended up settling on installing them backwards like most do now.

I installed mine backwards like that and it works fine, just a little annoying to reach the recline lever, but I virtually never use that, so not a big deal at all.

The front of the seat is very low though, I've been meaning to go back and add some washers to the front side like talked about in the guide.

Thanks for clearing that up, I bought the seats 2 months ago, and just now getting ready to install...I was worried about the lumbar, because I ordered it only for the passenger side planning on using passenger on drivers side etc...I have to replace my blend doors (again) so Im doing it all at the same time, it should be easier to get to the the blend doors with the seats out....Kerry

Yeah absolutely. I recommend buying the washers and having them on hand during the install so you can set that up to your liking as well. When I did my install about 4 years ago I told myself that I would add them later......but I have been too lazy to since, ha.

Yeah I would do both sides while they are out. Otherwise it would be too low as mentioned. I can't remember how much. You can test that outside the car as well until you find the perfect amount.

Don't forget to move the passenger weight sensor for the airbag. It is a bladder thingy so the airbag keeps getting activated when people sit on the passenger side.

At least for the C6, the passenger side airbag is not on unless there is enough weight on the seat. I would think the C5 is the same. Once you remove the passenger seat, flip it up and you will sit it. It is at the seat bottom. It is like a plastic bag with liquid that sense the weight on the seat. I moved that to the new Corbeau seats so the car would still know when someone was sitting on the passenger side.

C5 has no passenger side air bag sensor in the passenger seat. The only thing they have is the shut off in the glove box.

There you go. Sorry for the confusion. Should be a straight swap then. Good luck. Let us know if you need more help. You are gonna love the seats.

Need more help......So, Im getting ready to put the seats in, did the washers, everything looks good. I want to sell the stock seats, drivers a little worn, but the passenger is like new, but I read to leave the electronics for the electric seat under the carpet, dont I want to give that to the person that may want my seats? can I pull the electronics out?
