Dead TPMS

Does anybody know if the sensors batteries can be reactivated or just toss them out when they finally go dead?

The batterys in the 1997 - 2000 sensors can be replace but I have never heard of it being done on the 2001 - 2004 sensors.

I think both Corvette Don and Bakersfield replace batteries. I must admit I think its worth it for the more expensive older TPSs but at $35 a pop I think I'd go for new ones on a 01-04. JMHO

The newer sensors are just so much cheaper it's not worth the hassle to do a battery change out.
