G5X1 would be excellent DD. Probably see around 410whp with that cam; what are you at now, power wise? I'm sure LG has more insight on what to expect.

2002-2004 C5 Z06's with our LT's (Streets or Pro's), cold air intake, G5X1 cam and a tune typically see 418-428 hp at the tire and 385-395 rwtq.

2001 cars are typically 5-10 hp less.

The X1's typically idle 875-950 RPM. Power range is from idle to 6700 RPM.

A lot of fun to drive around town, stop light to stop light, and on the highway.

Do you have any tuning insight to guys installing locally? I'm sure LG knows how to get the most out of thier combos, but most DIYers or guys using local shops don't usually see that kind of power for a cam only of that size

We can always do a mail order tune to get the car very very close, might have to play with idle settings as every setup is going to be different. Also we do have a very good dealer by you as well.

Anybody you recommend in Ohio? PM me if so. I could always use my vacation to go to Texas, but it might take a very expensive gold/diamond combo to get the wife to agree!

In Ohio, of course there is Danny Pop who has been going fine work for a long time and I haven't heard any of his customers complain. You can find him on the forum under 'RaftRacer'

A new shop is also Cincy Speed and I have been good feed back from them as well.

yes Tom is the only good tuner we have in the area, mind boggling as large as the Seattle area is we still need to limp or trailer cars clear down to Vancouver for a good tune.

Peace, B.

Did you have a before/after comparison? Your numbers are cool, but the difference is what interests me.

I'm sorry, is this a "cam only" car w/ suppoting mods? Or did you do the heads as well? If cam only, nice gains, imagine what some good heads would do.

Well I got my Streets on yesterday and let me say WOW!! They slide right in, no problems anywhere. Didn't have to jack the engine up or anything. I am getting the car tuned tom, so hopefully I will have some numbers for yall.

Very nice. Those types of before/after make this mod very quantifiable. I'm looking forward to doing my LG longtubes/xpipe combo soon!

That's just LG Streets/high flow cats/x-pipe. Motor is otherwise stock, including the cam.
