Took my 03 Z up to Anthony at LG Motorsports for a set of LG Streets and dyno tune today. My car picked up 29HP and 25 ft lbs. of torque. The meat of the torque improvement was largely from 2700RPM all the way to 6500. I'm running with the stock Ti catback.
I must admit I was a little dubious about whether I'd be happy with the stock Ti. Well, darn if everyone wasn't dead on about just how good this combo is! Idles like stock. Quiet while cruising. No drone what so ever. And when you stick your foot in it all hell breaks loose
I'm thrilled with the results. It not only sounds awesome, but the performance improvement is very noticeable. Great bang for the buck!
Big thanks to Anthony and all the guys at LG Motorsports!
I have LG Streets, Lunati cam and Ti's with the bypass mod. Love this combo! A little louder at idle, screams when you put your foot down. The best of both worlds! Congrats on the purchase!
I too am running the LG Streets with my Corsa Pace car "Indy's"... talking about Hell breaking loose... LG is currently milling my AFR 205's down to 59cc... that along with the new cam i am purchasing from them "should" wake my little C5Z up... along with all of my neighbors. Nice choice!
just finished the install of my LG Streets and a 228/232 cam with stock ti...very pleased with the results...sounds great...not obnoxious in any way...good power gains
I've got the LG Street Series as well with no cats and stock Ti catback. Love the sound when you get on it. Thinking about one of their cams here shortly.
The wife and I are making a trip in May to LG for the streets. I can hardly wait. Could you elaborate further about the seat of the pants difference. It will wet my appetite.
Thank you.

What grind are you running?
How much performance did you gain?
Did it affect drive ability and fuel consumption?

Well, the throttle is more responsive and it pulls harder in every gear. If that ain't enough to get you going then check your pulse

Did you dyno? I'm thinking about a cam now.. Your grind looks pretty reasonable for the street. What did you gain?

From what I have seen cams typically do not change fuel mileage on the highway, even the big ones. Now around town it will change and it will vary depending on how large of a cam you go with. Some of the bigger ones you may see as much as 3-4 mpg drop around town. The smaller ones you will not see this, nearly as much.
My thought is always to side on the smaller side when choosing a cam for a daily driver. You'll be much happier with a cam that makes a broader power band and easier low end driving than trying to out dyno the neighbor.

So, assuming something middle of the road for daily driver, what sort of improvement might one expect for a LS6 w/LTH?
