Ok my left headlight has been rubbing against the hood for some unknown reason when i turn them on at night. Its starting to remove the paint on the headlight in one spot. Its driving nuts. Is there a way to adjust the headlight to move it? Please let me know. Thanks.
Its easy to adjust but where exactly is it rubbing?
If its the headlight cover, you can adjust the "up and down" at each corner to make it lie flat. A separate adjustment can be made to adjust the "left and right and forward and back".
If its the headlight itself it fits into the cradle with 3 bolts. If so, is the headlight loose?
If you are staring at the hood from the front of the car. Its on the top left corner. Its so bad i can see fiber glass now (white). There any write up on how to adjust?

We need to work out if the headlight cradle is loose, the headlight is loose in the mount or whether the cover is rubbing.
Is the actual headlight cradle tight when it opens?
If thats OK, is the headlight loose in its cradle? Its secured by 3 bolts which need to be tight.
You can see one of the bolt holes in this pic (middle left)
If thats OK, it must be the headlight cover thats badly aligned. If its not sitting square, that could cause the contact.
This is hard to describe without pictures but I'll do my best
You can adjust the headlight cover in two directions. One adjustment allows you to set the “up and down” position to get the cover to sit flush with the hood and the fender. Another adjustment allows you to position the cover within its housing and set an equal gap around the cover when it’s stowed.
To make it sit square in its housing you adjust the position and tightness of the torx screws which hold it on. There are two torx screws at the rear of the cover and one on each side.
Lift the hood and remove the two at the rear
Turn on the headlights and then back off to the parking lights position to kill the headlights.
Remove the bezel
Remove the torx screws at each side
Take off the cover.
You’ll see four white screws at each corner of the headlight cradle. By rotating these you can raise or lower the position of the cover at each corner. This adjusts it to sit flush with the hood and fender. Unfortunately this adjustment is trial and error. If the whole cover is sitting high, you'll need to lower all four of these white adjusters.
Replace the headlight cover and fit the two torx screws on each side.
Lower the headlights and see how the cover sits in its stowed position. If it’s square and central refit the rear torx screws and tighten. If not you can open the lights again and ease off the torx screws to adjust the fore and aft position. Again this is trial and error.
The torx screws fit into clips on the housing. Make sure you don’t knock them off as you remove the screws.
There is a little of over-spray in the side fender seal amost as if the car was in a fender bender and might be that is why the healight is missaligned. There are screws on the cover that let you move the head-light cover up, down, and to either side to get even gaps between the hood, bumper, and fender. Follow the post on top of the page, they have the answer.

When i got the car it never did this. Ive been backed into 2x while out at a bar or parking lot. Only to come back and see my car have other paint on it. . The over spray you might be seeing is old wax maybe? Anyways i will try this out and get back to this.
Come to find out one of the white adjustable hex screws is broken off and nowhere to be found . Its the front right one. Well i did the best i could. Doesn't stick up anymore and i cant really tell if its rubbing or not. . Maybe someone had a minor fender bender with it before i bought it. That or when someone backed into around that spot it could have caused it as well. Who knows.
