Reverse Gear Hard To Shift Into
My transmission works great clutch is fine and shifting into and out of all the gears are not a problem however when I try to get into reverse it makes more effort to push into reverse. I had this problem on my 02 Camaro SS and it seems that it was a speedo sensor could this be the same problem? All help is appreciated.

the guys above right about getting it into gear right now-follow those tips. My car was doing what you describe so I changed the tranny (and diff) fluid and it helped the problem a lot. its not perfect but I rarely have to let the clutch out to get into reverse anymore. easy DIY if you have a hand pump, jack stands and the search function (for a write up) on CF
