Keep us posted Randy.
Will do Robert! Fikse's plans include some new styles and I will show them here as soon as I get information! These are high quality beautifully made wheels, and something a little different and understated.

Great. I'll be looking forward to it. I'm going to be in the market for 18s (front and rear) before the end of the year.
Hi Randy;
Those wheels you have are very nice.What are the state of the art tire machines out there today? Are their ones that don't have to touch the wheel at all? Hey 1070 is the way looks like Pa. is going that way.

Rob - By touchless, I mean that there are constantly new developments in tire mounting systems that are designed to work with big wheels and do not touch the finished surface of the wheels. These are expensive systems that are not found in your typical mom and pop shop or even the bigger shops. You have to be mounting a lot of tires to justify the expense of a system like the Hunter systems...

They're not quite that expensive, but they are $$$$! I saw this one and a few others at SEMA, and I gotta say that even I could mount tires with a machine like this!

Many shops have Hunter equipment. They've been around for a long time. The key is to look for the specific model numbers to see if they have the latest/newest versions.
Generally speaking, I have seen more wheel/tire specialty stores have the latest equipment as they sell/install high-end wheels, etc and can more easily justify the cost of these newer style machines since wheels/tires are their bread-and-butter and they can't afford to damage their product.
I once picked up a nail while on a road trip and pulled off the Interstate in Tucson. I specifically looked for a shop that sold lots of wheels/tires and luckily, being a weekday, I found one. They were able to fix my flat and not put a scratch on my wheels. Nice guys too. If I ever need tire/wheel work in that part of the country I can recommend them highly.

There are lots of flavors of the Hunter machines, and vintages.
That's why I said I recommend a place that is accustomed to dealing with high end wheels - they have the newest machines and the latest technology to deal with the bigger wheels, lower profile tires, etc.
We have a place around the corner from Xtreme that specializes only in wheels and tires - that's who does all of our stuff when we're dealing with custom wheels.
price for profile 5 and FM-5 in black, 17 front 18 back. cool hunter machine but how to align the car after as everything I've seen grabs the wheel and with the rim protector tires it doesnt work great for not scratching.

I will PM a price to you tomorrow when I get into the shop - if that's okay. I don't have the price information with me at home....thanks!
