Thanks all for taking a look and letting me know what you think. They do resemble the Cragars of the 60's and 70's by design. They definitely add more of an old school muscle car feel which I don't think is a bad thing. I'm just looking for something other then the mentioned C6 Z06 style...i'm not knocking them, and they are probably what i'll end up with. They are a nice looking wheel, but are becoming very common place, and I'm personally not into the black wheels either, though I have seen a few black 'vettes that they worked nicely on.
Either way, I appreciate the feedback, and will continue my search. If anyone has suggestions, and can post some photos of something unique that would be great!
My 02' GT I traded for my first Vette (99' FRC) back in 2006.
I traded that 99 FRC in for an 01' z06 about 10 months ago. It's been fun, but...I'm honestly ready to go back to Mustangs. Corvettes just aren't doing it for me.
For me, I don't think so, it doesn't help the C5 image any, to 70's.... C5 is the first of the high tech corvette, it deserve a modern look to help with the sexy curves of the C5 body. Putting on C6 Z06 wheels gives it a more modern look, but stays in the corvette lines... That is what I did. Everybody ask if I have a 2004, but I say, No, a 1999, the wheels gives just a tad of modern look to it. Good luck.
