Hey George, I was in on your first GP and I have a question. I already have the original harness installed and see no practical reason to remove it, but are you simply just tapping into the existing stock harness now? Are there any other changes that would prevent me from removing the custom harness and just using the stock connectors if that's what I chose to do? Obviously, I still have the Hi-4 harness installed as well. And, awhile back, we exchanged PM's about the improved cutoff shields. Will/are those still be available to purchase separately for us first gen pioneers?

Still LOVE my Light Cannons 1.0. Absolute best upgrade to my lighting EVER. They retain the classic look of the pop-ups and light up the night beautifully.

According to my records, you set has Halos. Depending on where the halo power is tapped, you may need to keep or modify your existing harness.

If your halos are tapped from the parking lights instead of the light cannon harness, you can run your ballasts directly from your OEM headlight connectors. You would then need the new relay-based Hi-4 circuit to run all 4 headlights at once.

The new shields are still an option. The Upgrade 2.0 kit consists of 55w HID bulbs/ballasts, custom cutoff shields and the new Hi-4 harness for $120 shipped. It will take about 1-2 weeks to build.

George, just curious if you have any estimate on ship date for these kits. Anxiously waiting to get mine installed.

First seven of nine (lol) orders shipped out yesterday/today.

UPS should be sending you updates via the email addresses I have on file.

Installation guide is here for download:
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=PZVEGTJD

HID high beam and fog kits are direct plug and play.
Halo kits include quick taps where you can tap power from the marker light or low beam lights. (your choice)

George, the install document doesn't have anything about the halo installation. Do you have any documentation showing how they are held in position or wired? Where are you saying to quick tap - off the ballast power? What wires are the options?
