So I have installed the GHL's and I have two issues. The driver's side sticks out about an inch farther than the pass side. It looks like I will have to have the pipe coming out of the muffler bent some more so that they match. Is this a common issue with a catback? Also, the tips are rattling when I go over a bump in the road. What can I do to resolve that? Thanks. BTW, they sound great but now I am wanting them to be louder so I will have to get some LT headers in the future. NO drone at all.
After tweaking it a bit, I am still having issues. The only adjustments I seem to be able to make is moving the tips up or down. I don't see how I can move them forward or backward. Here are some pics of what i'm working with. Is it possible that the angle of the pipes coming out of the muffler are wrong???
Yeah, your positioning is way off. Loosen all your clamps and flange bolts and get the tips lined up and locked using a method similar to what I used in my thread above. You then need to tighten in several passes, working from front to back, tightening each bolt a bit more with each pass, adjusting as you go. It helps to have a friend holding the tips aligned as you do this but I have always done it alone.
Don't assume that GHL didn't misalign their exhaust.
My first GHL set gave me no end of troubles trying to get them straight.
I called them and they sent me another system and they bolted right up
without any problems. I've only adjusted them once in 4 years.

I think that is the issue. I just don't see how tweaking it will get them alligned. I will speak with GHL in the morning.
Also, throw away the clamps that came with the kit and get the wider band clamps like Patches used; they give you a little more to adjustment to work with and hold much tighter.
Well the install is finally finished. First let me thank Jeff at GHL for his good customer service. One of the original tips was messed up and he shipped me new tips. The Bullets are now welded in. The tips are level and even. There is two issues which will remain unsolved. First, the driver's side far tip is barely touching the bumper. I hope it doesn't burn the bumper but I am guessing that it will. Second, I can't put the factory exhaust plate back on because it will rattle against the passenger's side tips. No big deal there. I did notice that a forum vendor sells a blank exhaust plate that might work. My question is how is it installed? I know it comes with double sided tape but does it stick to the factory exhaust plate or to the black plastic that's behind the factory exhaust plate?

There was no factory exhaust plate.
The tip should not be touching the bumper, and I would assume it does not look the same as the other side?
Good luck.

One of my tips which was welded together had one side longer than the other so this made it stick out further than the rest no matter what I tried. Got mine through Chip at CCA and he hooked me up with a new tip speedy fast!

Yeah, the other side doesn't touch the bumper. I may unweld it and move it out a little.
