Any body know what thaverge HP and Torque gains are wih this system?

There are many comments about the sound, but hard to track down average power gains?

They arrived today, everything looks very good. I probably won't install them until spring.
Thank you!

These are only available for the 01-04 air systems correct? Do they come with the air for earlier vettes (99's)? If not, is there an extension for sale somewhere that will be able to hook the air system up for my 99? where could I get it? I'm not really interested in removing it at this point. Thanks in advance.

Each car is different but I typically see realistic 20-35 rwhp and rwtq gains. What is big though is the power gained through the mid-range. I have seen gains of torque in the power band near 45 before!

Correct, 01-04. I myself had a 1999, and came up with 3 options for 97-00 cars using these headers.

1.) Use the supplied block-offs and delete the AIR system.
2.) Replace the passenger side AIR tube with one from a 01-04 car, (drivers side is fine)
3.) Cut your passenger side AIR tube and extend the necessary distance with a type of hose. I do not recommend this, but have had customers do this in the past with great success! Fuel line is one example I remember someone using.

Would I be able to cut the air tube connector off the headers, have it filled, and re-welded the air tube connector on the passenger side one tube down to be able to hook it up to my air tube system of my 99?

Certainly, but I think the options I posted would be much easier!

Default header bolts

Hey Jon , should I buy header bolts are use the bolts that are on the manifolds now. In the past I have always used header bolts and a drop of locktight , what do you recommend I should use on these.

Ok, i'm pretty sure i'm going to go with these headers, feedback seems to be great. I want to have everything I need to do the job correctly, so what exactly would I need to complete the install?

I have a 01 Z06, from what I gather, you reuse the header bolts, but it seems like it is a good idea to get new GM header gaskets?

Anything else? I'm thinking of changing the plugs and wires while i'm at it, any other thoughts? Car has 27k miles if that means anything.

You can reuse your bolts or run new, nothing imperative there. The gaskets I would run the GM ones. If yours are okay when you remove them you can reuse them. If they have developed a leak already or look rough, I would run some fresh GM ones. Other than that you should be good!
