New key?..........
Well short story is my little dog knocked my key down in my gf's car seat it ended up breaking my vette key.. I have a spare key somewhere I hope I can find it.. but if I can't.. Where can I get a new one made and about how much am I looking at? I know the chip will up the price.

On a serious note, I'm looking to pick up a spare as well. I only recieved one when I bought my Z.

I had a key made at the dealer a few months ago (about $38). It worked ok for awhile, but now it seems to catch on the tumblers when I try to start the car. My other original key works fine. I might have to get another made.

Try one of the sponsors "Keyless.com" I took my key (other) to the dealer and had them read the resistence, called Keylless and ordered a key and factory fob-$50.00 plus tax total. Then took the key to the shop and had them cut the new key for five bucks. Programed the fob to the car myself and all is good again.
