Default Vert top rubbing off paint.
The top is rubbing of my paint right behind the rubber seal. It may have been happening for awhile but just noticed the red paint on the white top.

Any suggestions ?

Known issue, later model top seal is a better design and there is a tech tip on reworking the top.

They redesigned the weatherstripping on the back for the 02' model-pre 02' had the issue. There is a writeup on fixing it but you basically have 3 options:

1) Use the plastic peeloff protection Ecklers and MidAmerica sells to protect the toneau cover.
2) Read the writeup on peeling part of the top back to fix the issue.

3) Buy an 02' rear weatherstrip that holds the top off the cover higher.
