i recently installed a clb, only as preventative, and had ecs set the fuel shutoff to 250mph when they did my tune at carlisle. while you could [before clb install] hear the actuator engaging and disengaging when turning the ignition on and off, i only discovered right before the install that my steering wheel didn't actually lock anyway!
so i'm thinking now, that with the locking plate evidently previously removed, and the fuel shutoff speed taken care of, i don't have any reason to have the clb installed in my car at all. any thoughts on that?

If you keep the battery on a Battery Tender when the car is going to sit for more than a week, then battery RC doesn't really make any difference. I don't know why the C5 Vette needs so much battery RC anyway ... there is only a 20 milliamp current draw when it's sitting in the garage.
