Gas Door Release
Rumor has it, in addition to the button in our center consol there's an extra wire or something that acts as secondary release to open the gas door. Where might I find such rumored wire? 
It's in the trunk, left hand side tucked up above the wheel well.

Thanks all! Though you all are my owners manual I'll pull it out tonight and take a look. I was having trouble with my button the other day not releasing the door so just want to have a backup in case something happens!

i had to fish a bit for mine, but you can start up on top of the wheel "tub" on the driver's side. it should be easy to locate. mine (on an 04 convert) has a short, flat "fob" on the end to make it easier to locate and use.
