Hello,
Thanks for the orders. Everyone knows that you have to protect or be very very careful with your skid bars because they also serve as your lower radiator support.

For you Fang owners how are they lasting so far? I'm still going back and forth between the Fangs and the Wheels. You don't have to drill a hole for the Fangs but you have to take off the air dam, so the level of effort seems about the same.

Hi,
Its much easier by far to remove and replace the air dam than it is to drill the holes. The Fangs are about a 15 minute install and you get full front to back protection of the skid plates.
I brain farted this morning and ran my Vette up on a parking bumper....the Fangs did their job.....no god awful scrape, just the front end lifted a bit.....I backed off. I just took a looksie at the fangs and there is a little abrasion but it did not remove any of the fang materail. Whatever materail they are made of is pretty darn tough.

From someone who has installed the fangs, I agree. SIMPLE INSTALL!
Hey all - I bought and installed the FANGs a couple months ago and they are working pretty good, much better than scraping the frame rails. But, I still wanted the front a little higher.
So, today I raised the front using the ride height adjusters on the front springs and screwed them in almost all the way. Surprisingly it only gave me about a 1/2 inch height increase. After really looking at the adjusters I noticed that the bushings were cut down to almost nothing. Well there you go!
After poking around the site it seems like these are hard find.To replace them you have to buy a new spring. Does anyone know of a source for these height adjuster bolts and bushings?
If you have to raise a stock ride height vette...it's definitely a driver problem...sorry man.
I've driven lowered cars for 10+ years around the hills and valleys of Pa. Huge speed bumps, curbs, big incline changes onto side streets...you name it. It's all about approach angle and speed.
Raising a stock vette that sits almost goofy high stock is ridiculous..I'm sorry. Get a CTS-V or somethin.
Sorry If I wasn't clear, my car is VERY lowered, almost sitting on the tires. So I just want to get it to semi-lowered. I don't know why everyone assumes "stock ride height vette...it's definitely a driver problem"..... Sometimes you actually have to READ the thread. Enough ranting for now....
Anyway, right now the front is about 26 1/2 inches. Since the previous owner hacked off the bushings and had the screws cranked all the way up, it's way low. Cranking the screws in only brought it up to the current 26 1/2. I really want another 1/2 inch. So, I'm looking for a source for the bushings so I don't have to buy the whole spring.
