It is a fact that there are alot of vendors/manufactures who
are big on sales but have not a clue concerning customer
service and/or quality control.
I have issues with vendor sponsors on this site and the closest
they could come to rectifying the problem was lying and vilifying
me. A very poor show and they cannot figure out that I talk to
other people some there potential customers. We are all their
best salesmen and we can also tell the truth about bad sellers.

Hey competency and spelling are not necessarily related, although in this case with the mats.

Don't get me started on aftermarket stuff....

Here's an old favorite of mine:

Customer: How well do your headers fit??

Vendor: How big is your hammer?

I know exactly how you feel. Ordered some wheels for my truck recently from a vendor on Ebay(name unmentioned). When my wheels got here, they were different from the ones shown in the pic. Same brand, same wheel, just made different based on wheel size. Also one of them was damaged. Contacted the vendor and went off about the wheels being the wrong ones. He told me he would swap them if I wanted to but that these were the correct ones for my factory size 17X9 Chevy truck wheels. I figured I would keep them. Then sent back the damaged one to get it swapped out and he sends me back an 18X9 wheel, which is the correct one shown in the picture to begin with. I then called him and went off about the wrong size being sent but that it was the style shown in the pic that I wanted to begin with. Vendor agreed to swap out my 17's for 18's for just $10 more dollars a wheel but wanted me to pay shipping for the 17's being sent back and the 18's delivered for mistakes on his part when there was free shipping to begin with. Long story short, after I ripped him some long letters about fraud and everything else he agreed to just the $10 dollars more for the wheels and promised that they would be here in two business days. 2 weeks later I got my wheels. Over a month to get a set of wheels!!! Sorry for ranting, just needed to finally vent my frustration.

Were the mats made in the USA? My C5 logo Lloyd's Mats are. It is unusual for the error to occur after all the confirmations but you are dealing with people so the human element comes into play. These orders are not EDI so they were re-typed at one point into their system. I did a lot of import packaging and this kind of error was par for the course. I felt it was best to explain, up front, what I wanted and where even if it was already laid out on computer disk. In your case, I would have to explain the meaning and significance of each number and letter, even though it was no concern to them...it cut down on a lot of errors. I'm sure they will make it right.

Even if there were no spelling errors, I think the mats look crummy. They may be of high quality, but the embroidery leaves alot to be desired. I'm in the business (embroidery) and we send out actual proofs of the finished product before completing the order.

Totally ridiculous, we've all been there, just 1 time, can't someone from a mfgr CHECK to make sure everything is right?

Case example...
I ordered "custom mats"..
They emailed me to verify.
The CALLED me to VERBALLY verify everything was correct..
Color, stiching, wording...

This is what I ordered:
Copied directly off their site:

And this is what I received...(look at the P in RWHP)

I'm sure the vendor will take care of this, but I just can't get over with 2 different confirmations + my written online order that they:
#1 got it wrong, and #2 didn't check it & sent it out!

By the title of your post, I thought you were referring to the Obama administration.
