I bought my 1st vette almost a year ago. It had alot of upgrades; mostly engine, shocks, etc. related. I wanted to add some leather, stainless and carbon fiber. I spent over 5,000.00 but 90% of the transactions were nightmares. It took more time and stress to get things corrected. I'm almost done and will never order more parts for my car. The frustrations I encountered for 5 months isn't worth it. It is to bad for us because I have great pride in my car and want all this fancy stuff but the frustrations are just not worth it.
Good luck everyone!!

What? That's BS, how are we supposed to protect each other?
THANK YOU for posting this is more like it.
edit: and if the vendor wanted to make it right, they could EASILY. I'm sure the op would be fine with a 50 dollar credit and all shipping paid. Mistakes happen BUT if they called to verify...that's just ridiculous
So what probably happened here: these things are done by machine connected to a computer (or at least used to be). The script used was not started far enough to the left and the spacing between numbers is too much. The machine stopped when it found it couldn't finish the letter "P" without stitching right off the mat. That's not a "7", it's the left half of the letter "P". These things are undoubtedly done in batches, and someone was asleep at the wheel when it came time to inspect the finished product, if they even do check. Chalk one up to the miracles of modern technology, and the lack of human interaction associated with such.
Not trying to downplay the significance of this, but it pales in comparison to dealing with the trials and tribulations associated with building a house.
Everything is going to start "tomorrow" or "next week." Talk about lies and BS.....
My pet peeve on the forum: people who can't spell. The word is "incompetence". Yes you will find "incompetency" in the dictionary but it is a poor cousin to the proper word.
