Nice, welcome to the 'Vette world! Where are those photos??? You have to be a pic ***** to post here! You will have much fun and enjoyment with your new purchase.
Welcome to the forum and the "club". You might want to change your avatar to a C5 in lieu of the C6. Oh, and by the way, Corvettes don't "dent" so I wouldn't expect any on your new to you car.
Sounds like you have a nice car. Price was a tad high but you do have the exhaust and wheels already on the car and a 3 hour drive home without any issues is a plus as well.
You have a lot of miles left to enjoy on your car, so drive it. I don't think you mentioned pulling up the codes, you should do that and change some fluids, and you'll be all set.
Thanks guys! I'm definitely happy with the decision. I'm planning on changing the fluids (Oil, Trans, Coolant, Rear Diff, Clutch, and Brake) just for the piece of mind next weekend. I really am enjoying the Vette; the only thing I'm not so happy with is the stock shifter. It just feels a little sloppy to me and it takes a little more effort than usual to find 5th-6th and reverse. So I went ahead and ordered the MGW Short Shifter (read many good reviews on it here) and hopefully that will solve my problem and give me more solid, precise shifts. Once that comes in, I'll go to install the CLB, CAGS delete, and change all my fluids/fuel filter/oil filter and check the spark plugs, and serpentine belts and I think I'll be all set. Looking forward to many years of enjoyment and very happy to be a part of the Corvette Family
