Very very happy with the purchase so far!

I was looking at that very car and actually wanted to buy it. But the guy over at TDA wouldn't go lower than like 500 off asking, glad to see you were able to talk them down a bit more.

Have had some minor problems :-
1. Voltage fluctuatine causing High Voltage Warning,Service ABS,Traction Control and Active Handling. Diagnosed and fixed problem by replacing loose battery clamps with new - no more messages. Fixed.
2. Drivers seat worn and has tear in the side bolster. Still deciding what to do, if I want original seats or used replacement seats or new seat foam and repair.
3. Minor cosmetics, stone chips and scrapes. Busy with a touch-up job.
4. Bought spare remote off e-bay and re-programmed both remotes. Fixed.
5. Blown AMP powering the Polk subs, probably due to high voltage issue. Bought a new JL Audio SUB and
installed. Fixed.

Also :-
Bought 2 x new Nitto Invos tires, 295x35x18, tires are ready to go onto the rear wheels.
Bought some jacking pucks off e-bay.

Paid :- $22,500

Found the vehicle here on this forum. I really wanted a C6 Z06, but for half the price and about the same
performance, and willing seller/buyer the stars all aligned and now have the C5 Z06 Silver Dream Machine.

bone stock 40K miles 2001 in 2010 - 20,500

in july 2007 i bought my bone stock 2001 42K miles - 26,800

i "invested" about 35K dollars in mods.....61,800

in 3 years i put on 8K miles.....

so including mods i have lost 41,300 dollars over 3 years on this car

and it has cost me 5.16 dollars per mile not including maintenance (lol)

so since it's a lost cause money pit I am turning it into a full track car. i can't afford to sell it.

Just recently bought my 01 Quicksilver Z06 with 5,060 on the clock for $25,000. There is not a single mark on the car and it still smells brand new. I've put a thousand miles on it in the last month- trying to make up for the previous owner not enjoying it

And I actually thought I got a good deal. Well I bought my with 55k mileage with 4 bad wheel bearings, each tire where showing threads, no headlights, ripped driver seat, broken exhaust hanger, ripped console, leaks like you wouldnt believe and for some reason the guy RASIED his Z06 Anywho 2002 Z06 for $20k. All those were very easy fixes and I couldnt be happier with my car.

Picked up my 03 EB Z06 6 spd in April for 20K. Was actually looking for a 68 or 69 BB 4spd. "Setteld" on this and NEVER looked back.
All stock, almost 60K, looked like I drove it off showroom floor...
Always modded camaros or turbo cars to be fast as vettes....
Now I've seen the light, I should've just bought the vette!!!
Just bought D1SC to boost the fun:-) If only it was AWD, lol.
