Greetings, Rob
I also have the active handling controls which is why I didnt go for the AH panel. As you can see from my post unless you want to extend the wires which are provided you need to go for somewhere near the ashtray/center console. Putting them there also means the passenger can get to the switch. The ashtray area is easy enough as you have to pull the console to fit the wiring anyway.

I took the easy route for my daily driver, I have seat covers so you can't even see it. The last one gave out after 4 years so $5 bucks a year to toast my buns was well worth it.

Greetings, Rob
Here's where I put them on our Z06 show car. IIRC it was a bit of a tight fit but good "out of the way" location for both driver and passenger:

Just installed them in my car over the weekend. I put the switches exactly where Redshift did. Convenient location, looks like they should be there. Very simple installation, too.

9 degrees, 6" of snow, seat heaters & snow tires. I'm all set

Guys, don't say I told you, but if you sign up for our newsletter at PFYC.com, you'll get a new edition tomorrow with a discount code that might just happen to work for seat heaters if you are interested in picking some up....shhhhhh!!!

I might just have to do that. Need to put a set in the back seat of my Avalanche in order to keep the kids happy.

Thanks I had to remove the seats from the car to do the job the way I wanted, but really that's not too difficult. On some other cars, removing the seats will trip a code that can often not be re-set without a special tool, but not the C5, thank goodness.

Removing the seats from the car couldn't be easier.

Redshift-
This is the best location I've seen for heated seat switches. It looks factory. Now heated seats are on the to do list.
Thanks for the pictures.

only problem I see with that location is if the passenger leaves thries on the driver cant see the switch. I may go with the ashtray idea. I installed them in my Sky and truck and this car needs them too.

Here's a template for an ashtray panel. One member kindly sent it to me. Wish I could remember who and I'd give him credit
