Fit seems to be as varied as the tire manufacturers choose to make it. Invo 325/30/19's seem to run small and fit, though tight, almost no other 325 will though. Nitto / Toyo "R" compound 305's run big, more like std. compound 315's would measure. Diameter seems a little more consistent with most manufacturers, but the Yokohama 305/30/19 shows 26.1 inches dia, while most others are in the 26.3 - 26.4 range. Stock 295/35/18 is about 26.1.
From inner liner to the outer lip, (on my car), measures 12.5 inches so it would seem anything more than 12.25 section width has to stick out or rub. But it doesn't seem like you can completely trust the mfr.s published numbers, other than - yes it will actually fit an 18" or 19" wheel. Me, I'm pretty well set on going with R888's in 275/305.
I was looking at Invo's for my next set of tires. I have the C6Z replica's on my car, and am currently running Hankook Ventus V12's 265/35/18 in the front and 305/30/19 in the rear.
I was going to go 315/25/19 in the rear and 275/35/18 in the front with the Invo's, but I've heard it's hard to wrap a 315 around a 19" rim. Would the fact that they run a little smaller compound this problem, or actually make it easier to mount them?
Very nice. Are those just regular factory reproduction C6 wheels with C5 offsets??? Wondering how much heavier they are than a stock Z wheel (granted, they are 18's / 19's).
