I have a C5 that's giving me issues with the high beam. The driver side works perfectly but I have an issue with the passenger side high beam. I replaced the high beam bulb that was blown but I still can't get the high beam to work properly on the passenger side. Thanks for any help.

Check the high beam fuse un the underhood fuesbox. Each bulb (high low, left and right) will get it's own fuse. If you had a bulb blow, odds are the fuse did as well.
Thanks for the responses. This is my first corvette and I just got it a week ago so everything is new to me. I am trying to learn as much as I can and will do everything possible not to waste anyone's time. I checked the HDHIBMR MiniFuse #9 and it is fine. The lamp does come up, it's only the right side High Beam that won't come on. I checked the contacts but will do that again.
Pulled the fuse and the bulb connector. Attached a voltage meter to see if there was continuity between the two and it was fine. Then I ran the meter from the bulb connector to the battery ground and that checked fine. Still can't get the high beam to work. Does anyone have any other suggestions>
So was there voltage present at the connector when checked from it to ground and the high beam selection on? If not and the fuse was good, then you need to back up to the headlamp switch itself. I know the tan wire coming out of the switch is the low-beams...I'll try to find out which is the high beams and post again.
I never checked it with the high beam selection on. I checked the resistance in the wire from popint to point to point to see if there may have been a break in the circuit. I will check it again with the selection on and see what I get. I hate to sound dumb but are you referring to the headlamp switch on the steering column?
I'll bring the bulb back and get another one tomorrow to see if the one I got is faulty.
Really appreciate the help guys. I need to get the State Inspection for the car and can't do that until I fix this issue. Hoping to get some driving in before any bad winter weather sets in.
Yes, the headlamp switch, also known as the multifunction switch, is on the steering column. As you can see from the schematic, the single feed from the switch feeds both lamps, so if one is working, its not the switch. Are you sure you had continuity from the fuse to the lamp contacts? Are you sure you looked at the correct fuse?
I am sure I looked at the right fuse. However today I am going to try it again. I will turn the highbeam on and put the meter on the connector contact at the bulb and see what I get.
Finally! It was in fact a faulty bulb. I checked the connector with the switch on and had 11.5 volts. At that point I went back to NAPA where I bought the bulb and told them I needed a replacement. They tried to avoid replacing the bulb but ultimately did. I put the new bulb in and it worked fine. The thing that confused me with the original bulb is that I had continuity across the contacts. Whatever. I appreciate your help. It nice to be part of a forum like this.
Just in case you don't know this fact, you can't touch the bulb lens with your fingers. If you do you must wipe it off with alcohol before turning on. The oils from your skin can create a hotspot that will cause the bulb to blow out extremely fast. I use latex gloves when installing bulbs for that reason.

I was very careful not to touch the bulb when I installed it. However in retrospect using Latex gloves would have been a better idea. Thanks for the info.
I'll have an "extra" drink tonight on behalf of "theradioflyer" !! Appreciate the support.
