They're ridiculously expensive!! I opted to buy a set of takeoffs and they cost me $1600.00 installed. Call SMC Performance in Auburn, MI, they have the best deal I found. The shocks I got from them were virtually new, very pleased.
If you want something besides this expense, get some aftermarket shocks, Bilstein Sports, even C6Z shocks or Koni FSD and you will be fine, what I did when one of my F45 shocks started leaking. I evently upgraded to PFADT Coilovers
The F55 shocks I have are new Surplus, never been on a car. I have fronts and rears for the 2003-2004 C5 Corvette, and rears for C6 which are the same as C5.

"rears for C6 which are the same as C5", I don't think so. The C6 shocks use a special fluid that is electrically charged to change the shock, they also update much quicker. The C5 shocks use electricity to change the shock valving, two completely different systems.

I suggest that you have your facts incorrect. Beginning in 2003 GM began installing the Magnetic Ride Control (RPO F55) in the C5 corvette as the replacement for the F45 (Selective Real Time Damping) RPO. The F55 RPO continued on into the C6 Corvette as an alternative to the base shock/suspension system. Here's a GM publicity video that talks about the F55 option available at significant added cost on the C5:
How much does it cost to replace magnetic socks? And how can you tell if they are going bad?
Before you buy some new ones, my buddy and I pulled his off his '04 Vette and they have only 17,000 miles on them (if I remember correctly, might even be lower mileage)
He wants to sell them and you can get all four for a good reasonable price!
You can call me: Matt -- or call Joe and let him know I sent you - 661-406-6949
His are the F55 which are different than the F45, up to 2003 then 2004+ F55!
Interesting that this super capable option is not available on their highest performance car>>>>>>>
Check your glove box door for the list of RPO's that are installed on your car or get a copy of the GMVIS for your car. The last page will list the RPO's for your VIN.
Look at the video link I posted above for the GM view of the benefits of F55.
