What this has come down to is that not all customers read the descriptions of components purchased online. I do apologize that you feel the product was misrepresented, because it was not. This debate seems to be more about the fact that we optimized a design, and you happen to look at the picture (and not read the description) before we had the opportunity to arrange for more professional photography.
Taken directly from our website:
"This kit contains 2 spacers, each 1/4 inch. Product shape may vary."
Again, if you understand the function of a wheel spacer then the fact that we optimized the component from the inferior design in the picture should be a pleasant surprise, not a point of contention.
Good Lord people, have we never been to a McDonald's??? Nothing ever looks like the picture
Na, I really understand the confusion, but if the description states that the image may vary or whatever, then we just need to call or write and ask about the specific product. Hopefully they will update the image soon and solve the issue.
I would not reccomend it. I just tried a 6mm spacer with a stock lug nut with out chrome cover so i could see how far the lug nut was going on, not far at all ( maybe 5 threads )

This ain't over yet. It looks like the new design could trap road salt in the valleys...not good...perfect recipe for galvanic corrosion in an area where you really don't want breakdown of metal. google it if you don't understand the failure mechanism....

As long as you have at least two threads showing on the stud after you seat the nut to 100 ft/lbs you are good to go...this is the standard in the auto industry for all fastened joints between a nut and a bolt (a stud in this case).
I am ignorant to this subject and was hoping for some advice as well. I have a C5 that I had speedlines on and recently put on wheels that have the stock C5 specs. So I miss the wider look in the rear fendor well of my speedlines. Any suggestions on a size for wheel spacer that would put it back to that Z06 rear look?
