if it is what you want then i would do it. i looked at the pics and it looks sweet. '03 verts are a dime a dozen!! do it and don't look back!!!!!!! then let's see some more pics in your drive way(when the snow melts... lol)
My first question is, why is someone willing to trade a $34K plus '64 SS Impala for an '03 Vette. They are getting the short end of the stick it would seem. Next question is would this be a daily driver? I would be all over this trade if in fact the '64 is as perfect as you say it is, because I would only be using the Impala as a limited driver and local cruise-ins and shows. As already stated, you can always buy an other Vette at a good price, but '64 Impala's are not on every corher.
I am sure you love the Vette, but you can get another one of those pretty easy. On the other hand, the SS is quite rare, and if it is in that good of shape, I might pull the trigger and keep looking for another Vette.
Let us know what you do.....and good luck....Got any pics of the SS ?
I was thinking the same unless your c5 vert is modded or special to you and you would miss the exact one. I also happen to like the impaa=la cause thats what I learned to drive stick on a 63 impala with 327 3sp on the column.
My friend had one that he cut up and made a lowrider out of. Wish I had a pic of the car.
if its a #'s matching 64 and a real SS not a clone I say yes. make the trade and buy another vette down the road. I wish I never sold my 68 firebird 400 vert

If that '64 is in as good a shape as you say, then it would be a tough call - the Impala will appreciate much more in value than the C5 probably ever will.
64 vert SS,,,327 4speed,,,9 out of ten,,even up,,,,,IT WOULD ALREADY BE IN MY GARAGE!!!!!!!! As stated,,,you can ALWAYS find another vet,,at a good price,,,a 64 SS vert,,,not so easy!!!

Yes, make sure it's the real deal.... then go for it.
You'll be able to buy another good C5 in the next couple of years.
If it's and either or situation keep the Vette. You'll get more use and fun out of it.
