The fact that you asked the question means you have said no, like all have asked is it a correct SS if it is the vert should be gone. I would trade my 2k coupe in a heartbeat for a old school car. a true 64 SS is worth twice as much as a 03 vert right now something tells me thier is something missing here. I can walk down the street and find at least a dozen C5'S and pick one up for under 20k with low mileage I know I cant do that for any SS cars. So what have you done DEAL OR NO DEAL what is ur final awnser ?
However one of the vehicles gets more valuable every day while the other becomes less valuable every day.
If you're trading for an investment vehicle, it might make sense. From a driver's standpoint, it will feel like you're driving the polar opposite of a C5.
I say DO IT! Your Vette is loosing value daily:o.. The Impala will continue to climb!
Be very careful when looking at Classics.
1st off the guy knows exactly what your Vette is worth and IF his Impala is truly worth $39K or anywhere close he's not gonna make a deal for something worth $21K.
Classics are a little soft in the market right now BUT very nice cars are still getting top dollar.
If the Impala is worth even $35K he could dump it for $30K buy a Vette and put $10k in his pocket.
Right now there are 32 64s on Ebay. The highest asking price is $35K and the average is about $20K for some very nice cars.
